LOVING YOUR ENEMIES

Jesus Teaches about loving your enemies. (NLT) Matt. 5:43–44 43 You have heard that the Law of Moses says, ‘Love your neighbor’ * and hate your enemy. 44 But I say, love your enemies! * Pray for those who persecute you! In the Bible, there is much written about “Cursing.” The word “Curse” sometimes means misfortune to another person. (NLT) Luke 6:27-29 27 But if you are willing to listen, I say, love your enemies! Do good to those who hate you. 28 Pray for the happiness of those who curse you. Pray for those who hurt you. 29 If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn the other cheek. If someone demands your coat, offer your shirt also. (NLT) Rom. 12:14 If people persecute you because you are a Christian, don’t curse them; pray that God will bless them. (NLT) James 3:9-10 Sometimes it praises our Lord and Father, and sometimes it breaks out into curses against those who have been made in the image of God. 10 And so blessing and cursing come pouring out of the same mouth. Surely, my brothers and sisters, this is not right!
When someone has bitterness against you, pray for them, so God will speak to their mind and heart. Let God take care of it. Spiritually, we are all brothers and sisters in Christ. The Lord said if you love me, then how could you have a curse within your heart against your brothers and sisters. What is love? 1 Cor. 13:4-7 4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. Love does not demand its own way. Love is not irritable, and it keep no record of when it has been wronged. 6 It is never glad about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7 Love never give up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. (NLT) 1 Cor.13: 13 There are three things that will endure- faith, hope and love- and the greatest of these is love. So brothers and sisters in Christ, anyone who comes in the name of Jesus Christ, welcome that person, it may be God’s angel sending messages to you. Amen!!! It could be a blessing or warning for you. Once again, “Love covers a multitude!”

I pray that these messages are very informative to you.
