(107) LOST SHEEP

(The first topic for 2011)

There are many lost sheep out there, we must help every one of them and lead them to the Lord Jesus Christ and the Power of the Holy Spirit. Many Pastors or Ministers are the Shepherds of their own churches, our obligation as a Shepherd of the church is to feed the words of God to the members and guide them to the Godly path.

Sure, while we are leading them to the Lord Jesus, we may encounter some members with spiritual or physical problems. This is a 24/7 responsibility as a Shepherd of the church and to be available when someone needs our help. It is not only preaching the word of God, but to help them when they encounter any spiritual problems. It doesn’t matter whether he or she belongs to the church or not, because they are all God’s children and if that is true then we must do our part too. Spiritually, we are all brothers and sisters in Christ. Am I right or wrong? We must try to follow the same footsteps as our lord Jesus Christ had walked on.

Jesus didn’t say in our bible, “Since you are not my disciples I will not help you at all.” He helped anyone that needed help such as: the prostitute, the blind, the lame, the deaf, even raised the dead and much more. Don’t you all agree with me?

Knowing only God’ words, It’s alright, but let’s take one step further and now let’s all apply it. Jesus Gives the Great Commission in (NLT) Mark 16:15-18, And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone, everywhere. 16 Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. 17 These signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name and they will speak new languages. * 18 They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick and heal them.”

Jesus spoke of Himself as “the good shepherd” who knew His sheep and would lay down His life for them. The Latin word transliterated “pastor” means shepherd. Our Lord Jesus-the great Shepherd of the sheep. Amen!

Lord Jesus’ Father is Jehovah. For your information, the word,” Jehovah” is made of two Hebrew words, Jahweh and Havah. Jahweh is the word for “I AM.” The word Havah means, “to revealed.” Jehovah-Joshua would mean the “Eternal, Pre-existent.”

Every so often, people encourage me to put some questions as I had done in the past; some of them said they had learned something from it. So today I decided to put some questions.
